In my practice, I focus primarily on adult-identified ADHD. Receiving knowledge of neurodivergence in adulthood can be both affirming and challenging. This knowledge can help make sense of your past. It can also lead to confusion about how to move forward in the future. You may have found that executive functions such as concentrating, remembering, organizing, and starting and finishing tasks are harder when you don't feel well. You may have seen how struggling in those areas can negatively affect your work or your physical health. That struggle may have also negatively affected your ability to take care of things at home or get along with other people. You may wonder how to better support yourself.
I’m a neurodivergent therapist. I focus on: 1) the relationship between executive dysfunction and depression 2) adult-identified ADHD and autism, 3) codependency, 4) religious trauma, and 5) family conflict. My approach is caring, solution-focused, & resourceful. I'm dedicated to advocating for your needs while fostering your sense of personal responsibility.
Please request a free 15-min consult here on my website. I work only with adults, only online, individuals only (no couples or families), and I see patients on Mondays-Wednesdays for full sessions. Please have your insurance info with you during the consult so we can check for insurance eligibility. I'm happy to schedule a consult outside of Mondays-Wednesdays;
Please note that my calendar availability only reflects Mondays-Wednesdays as those are the days that I hold full hour-long sessions, but if you want to coordinate a consult for sooner than what's on the calendar, please send me an email at hello@nicolewilliamslcsw.org and I'm happy to coordinate an appointment for sooner or another day. Email is best, but if you call, please leave a voicemail with your name and phone number so I can call you back.
